Original 1940's Sequin Embelished Cocktail Dress - Feauturing Ruched Front Detailing

           

Vintage 1940's cocktail / evening dress. Made from a lovely black crepe this dress has a scoop neckline, nipped in waist, sequin embellished front adornment with ruched panelled side detailing which falls into a loosely pleated skirt. Fastens with a metal side zip and fabric covered buttons to the nape. 

Not without her flaws ( please see condition report ) this piece is a lovely addition to any vintage lovers wardrobe and would look great for an evening soiree for drinks at the Ritz

Fair vintage condition, flaws to note - Still wearable but has a few flaws to note : Bead and sequin loss to front design embellishment, some fraying to back of nape and neckline, a few scattered holes. Still a wearable garment as is but could do with a little further TLC in places. Freshly laundered and ready to wear.
