Original 1940’s STUNNING Floral Rayon Wrap Dress - Beautiful Waterfall Hip Swag

 

Vintage 1940's floral rayon crepe wrap dress with a stunning hip swag detailing. The epitome of its era this dress oozes 40's glamour. Featuring a wrap construction with shirred shoulder detailing, ruched front panel leading to a waterfall draped hip swag this dress is easy to wear and would be great for dancing or dressed up for an evening soiree'. Its a very flattering shape. 

The floral rayon crepe has such a beautiful colour palette, featuring  pale blues, soft greens, corals, chartreuese and rich blues on a bed of soft blue.  Not without her flaws but she still has lots of life left in her. A great addition to a vintage lovers wardrobe.

Shoulder to Shoulder - 16' but has dolman sleeve

 Fair vintage condition , flaws to note - staining to front section of dress near leading edge but is covered by the layered panel so unseen when worn, patched repairs to areas on dress skirt but done very well. These do not detract from the wearability of the garment and is priced accordingly. Freshly laundered and ready to wear.
