Original Late 1940’s Stunning Dress With Asymmetric Detailing - In A Perfect Shade Of Pumpkin Spice

           

Vintage late 1940’s beautiful dress in a lovely pumpkin spice colour trimmed with rich blue velvet. The dress has a lovely silhouette and features strong shoulder pads, asymmetric front bodice detailing with contrast blue velvet trimming, pleats to the shoulder lines, a unique wrap around matching belt with press stud fastening and a beautiful shaped skirt with pleated centre back. The dress fastens with a metal side zip fastening. The dress has fabulous buttons to the front and is matched in the pocket trim detailing.

 

A fabulous piece to add to your autumn / winter wardrobe as the colour is so warming and great for this time of year. Lovely for both day and evening events. A lovely treat to yourself or someone special.

Great Vintage Condition, flaws to note - A little fraying to some areas of the velvet trim and 1 small mark to the front of the skirt near the waist. Both of these are very minor and really don’t detract from the wearability of the piece at all. Ready to wear.
