Original 1940’s Striped Day Dress - Lovely Cheesecloth fabric in Patriotic Colour Palette

 

Vintage 1940's striped day dress made from a lovely cheesecloth fabric in patriotic colours of red, blue and an off cream colour. Featuring a lovely collar, short sleeve, button front and flowing skirt. Has a contrast plain blue collar detailing which matches the banding around the sleeves. Fastens with the 4 buttons to the bodice section. 

 

A great dress for the spring and summer months or could be layered in the autumnal months with a cardigan. A lovely addition to any 40's lovers wardrobe

 Great Vintage Condition, only flaw to note - 1 small mark to the front of the skirt which may lift with further washing. Freshly laundered and ready to wear.
