Original 1940’s ‘ Maxton’ Novelty Print Crepe Blouse - Featuring People, Buildings and Scribbles

Vintage 1940s Stunning Novelty Print Blouse made my ‘ Maxton’. A label featured in lots of British war time fashions. Made from a beautiful crepe featuring lots of colours including soft fawns, Teal, purples, stencilled black and Ivory. The novelty print is amazing featuring people, buildings and scribbles. Created from a simple silhouette with high neck with pleating, puff shouldered long sleeves and a shaped hemline. 

A fabulous piece to add to any 40’s lovers collection, great worn with high waisted slacks or with a skirt or 2pc set.

Great Vintage Condition, flaws to note - 1 tiny hole to top of shoulder, odd buttons to the sleeves and differing to the back. These do not detract from the wearability of the garment. Freshly laundered and ready to wear.
