Original 1940’s ‘ Leslie Fay’ Novelty Print Rayon Dress - In a STUNNING knitting Needle and Yarn Print

Vintage 1940s Stunning ‘ Leslie Fay’ rayon novelty print featuring knitting needles and balls of yarn. In a fabulously bright lipstick red with white and black motifs. A classic 1940’s silhouette this dress has a lovely shaped collar, short sleeve with turn back cuff, button front with pleated skirt. The dress also has its original belt. The dress only opens with the buttons to the front so be mindful with measurements ( see below ). The piece has shoulder pads to accentuate that classic silhouette. 

A fabulous piece to add to any 40’s lovers collection or even an avid knitter! One of our favourite pieces to come into our collections due to the amazing print. Great worn all year round with a variety of accessories and layers for styling through the seasons. A lovely treat to yourself or someone special and a great novelty piece to add to your collection.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - A couple of small marks to the buttons and a little underarm staining which is minor. The inside lining needs a slight repair to the waist although huts doesn’t effect the outside. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the garment. Freshly laundered and ready to wear.
