Original 1940’s Beautiful edge to edge swagger coat - Navy with Royal Navy velvet trim

Vintage 1940's beautiful edge to edge swagger coat in Navy with Royal Navy velvet trim. Such a beautiful fully lined , light to medium weight coat.  Easy to wear but very smart and elegant at the same time. Good quality made in England by " Rensor".  Fabulous shoulder pads and deep pockets. Iconic shape and great movement with so much fabric in total. Main body being a good Navy nubby crepe with a fabulous Royal Navy velvet trim all around the edge and matching velvet cuff detailing.  Small kick pleat to the back, as in all good fashion, the back is as important as the front. 

Very wearable and versatile coat, can be worn over a suit, a dress and even wide leg pants.  An outing maybe to a 40's event, a special occasion, a spring/ winter picnic or just a stroll and a bit of vintage browsing. 

A quality piece for a treat to oneself, or a special gift for a loved one.
