Original 1930s Exquisite Beaded Capelet - Museum Worthy In all its Beauty Fully Beaded In Black, Gold and Deco Green Beads

Original exquisite early 1930s beaded capelet, one of our greatest finds and a piece that has stolen our hearts. Museum worthy in all its beauty. This piece has the most amazing shape and features asymmetric detailing throughout. This piece would have been painstakingly handbeaded throughout. The beadwork is simply magical and features flowers throughout in the most amazing contrast of black, Golds and  mint green beads. Typical to the period these colours are the epitome of its period. The capelet has lovely shaped sleeves which are again fully beaded. 

This piece would look fantastic draped over an original 1930s evening gown in gold, mint green or black and adds the most fabulous glamour to any attire. Extremely heavy due to the beadwork but still very wearable. A piece we have had in our collection for a while as we couldn’t bare to part with.
