Original 1940's Amazing 3pc Set In Cadbury Purple - With Sensational Beadwork Detailing

 

Vintage 1940's amazing 3pc set in Cadbury purple with sensational beadwork detailing. This set is a beautiful example from its time and has such lovely detailing. The set consists of a dress, bolero and matching belt and it's so lovely to find all piece still together. The dress has a stunning silhouette and features short sleeve enhanced by a shoulder pad, bodice with keyhole neckline detailing and contrast soft lilac yoke panel with beadwork, the dress pulls in at the waist with its matching belt and fastens with a metal side zip. The skirt has a beautiful drape and has buttons to the side, another divine extra detailing. The beadwork is exquisitely done and is layered up on a softer lilac shade of crepe, it's made up of deeper purple bugle beads and clear and silver beads which swirl into florals and leaves.  The matching bolero has a 3/4 sleeve and has the complimenting beadwork to its sleeve hem. This is a beautiful 3 piece which would look lovely worn for a number of occasions.            

 

A must have addition to any 1940's loving ladies' collection. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - 1 tiny mark to front above waist seam. Otherwise this piece presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
