Original 1940's Stunning Corde Shoes & Handbag Set - By Lotus in Powdered Grey

           

Vintage 1940's stunning Corde shoes and handbag set by Lotus in powdered grey. A truly sensational set which is lovely to still see together, a lot of sets do get broken up. The shoes are a in a very iconic and typical 1940's silhouette and showcase fabulous details made by ' Lotus'. They are a sling back shape in both canvas and Corde cloth. They feature a peep toe with cutwork detailing, a small ankle strap with diamante buckle fastening and a panel of Corde to the rear back strap. The matching handbag is a typical 40's shape once again in a classic style. The outer of the bag is made from Corde and has a brass metal work frame and interesting clasp with overlock flap on it. To its interior it has small compartments and has its own mirror. 

A divine set to be welcomed into any 1940's loving ladies collection. A great gift to yourself, friend or loved one.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some light discolouration to the shoes in parts, some wear to the internal lining. Wear to the soles and heels. Could be re heeled if desired. The bag has a few marks to the outer corde and some tarnishing to the metalwork frame and clasp.
