Original 1940's Stunning 2pc Hat and Clutch Bag Set - In A Divine Red, Green & Grey Wool Plaid

           

Vintage 1940's stunning 2pc hat and clutch bag set in a divine red, green and grey wool plaid. This is an exceptional 2pc set and is a lovely example of 40's American wartime fashion.  Its lovely to see the set as these are often split. The hat fits as one size and can be worn on various places on the head and tilted to different angles to create varying looks. It has a beautiful matching veil in bottle green which can subtly drape over the face, The clutch bag to the set is one of the biggest we have ever seen and measures 16' x 8', a phenomenal size for the modern gals' belongings. It features a gold 'E' to the front, large internal pocket, metal zipper with pull and an almost overlay envelope style front panel. 

A divine addition to any 1930's or 1940's wearers collection. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some ware to the Hat pins through the hat and a small hole to the corner of the bag which could be darned if desired. The set presents beautifully and is ready to wear / use.
