Original Stunning 1940's Sundress & Bolero - In A Bright Summer Floral Print Cotton

Vintage stunning 1940's sundress and bolero set in a bright summer floral print cotton. This set is such a beautiful example from its time and features a classic late 1940's silhouette with so many beautiful details. It features a thin strap, straight line bodice with inverted overlay edge, side gathered bodice with flat central panel which then falls into a pleated skirt with lots of movement. The second piece to complete the set is the matching bolero which features a small shoulder pad to accentuate the silhouette, short sleeve with turnback cuff and gathered detailing. This set is the perfect ensemble for the spring and summer months worn with a large straw hat and heels or flats. It can easily be worn as a set or equally as well worn with other items which makes the piece so versatile. 

A fabulous treat to yourself, friend or loved one. A lovely addition to any 1940's or 1950's loving ladies collection.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some small stains which very much get lost in the pattern of the piece. These flaws do not detract from the look or wearability of the piece. It presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
