Original 1940's SENSATIONAL CC41 Utility Coat - In A Plaid Colourway of Rust, Warm Brown, Emerald Green and Cinnamon

           

Vintage 1940's sensational CC41 Utility coat in a plaid colourway of rust, warm brown, emerald green and cinnamon. This is a stunning example of its kind and a rare piece of British wartime fashion history. It features a classic 1940's silhouette and has exquisite details. It has a strong shoulder line enhanced by big shoulder pads which create that classic shaping. It features a sharp pointed collar, button front, long sleeve with turnback cuffs, 2 big deep hip pockets and a flowing skirt. The back of this piece is almost as good as the front with a central half back belt adorned with buttons and pleats. This piece is fully lined and features an internal self tie which enhances the waist line. This piece is great for layering in those autumn and winter months and looks great worn both done up and undone. 

A must have addition to any 1940's wearer or utility fashion collector. A fabulous treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

There is space to move the buttons to make this garment slightly larger but bare in mind this would change the silhouette of the coat.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - One small old darn to the collar which isn't seen. Holes and marks to lining but this isn't seen when worn and could be repaired if desired. This piece presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
