Original 1930's Sensational Evening Gown - In A Rich Dark Chocolate Devore

           

Vintage 1930's sensational evening gown in a rich dark chocolate Devore silk velvet. This is a sublime example from the era and showcases so many exquisite deco details. It has a typical 1930's silhouette with a deep cowl neckline, flutter sleeve overlay, deep v to waist, bias cut with fabulous dropped pleat panel to the rear of the skirt. The dress fastens with side press studs. To enhance the silhouette the evening gown has a matching belt which features 3 deco swirls to the front and fastens with hook and eyes. The epitome of its era, a great showcase piece to wear for a special occasion or 30's soiree. 

A divine addition to any 1930's loving ladies collection. A great treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Very  Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - An old repair to the the back of the capelet which gets lost in the drape and the pattern. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the piece. It presents exquisitely for its age and is a beautiful example from the era. Ready to wear.
