Original 1950's Darling Cotton Day Dress - In Shades of Green & White

           

Vintage early 1950's darling cotton day dress with the most fabulous silhouette. This piece has a high round neckline, short sleeve, interesting toggle shaped white buttons, gathered at the waist and a bell shaped skirt. The piece is trimmed in a lovely crisp white bias edging which is a lovely contrast detailing. The dress has original belt loops but is missing the belt, but it would look lovely worn with a contrasting white or tan belt to correspond with matching accessories.  

 

A lovely easy to wear crisp cotton day dress for instant 50's glamour. This piece looks great worn with flat shoes and a cardigan or equally as fabulous with kitten heels and a bolero! A delightful addition to any 1940's or 1950's wardrobe.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Has belt loops but missing original belt, has a couple of tiny nicks and a small orange mark to the back of sleeve. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the garment. It presents beautifully, ready to wear.
