Original 1940's Silk pretty floral dress - in Celedon Green, Orange, Yellow, lilac and mauve

Vintage 1940's silk pretty floral dress in Celedon Green, Orange, Yellow, lilac and mauve. A fabulous Deadstock item, never been worn. Small and perfectly formed collar, 5 x opening button front to waistline ( please note no other opening ). Short sleeves and gorgeous pockets with overlap front. Kick pleats to front and back hem skirt detail.  Slight shoulder pads and slight gathers to the shoulders. Self tie belt, can be worn to front or back. No makers label but very high quality. 

Such a pretty dress and one which certainly give you inspiration of an array of accessory colours to choose from.  So typical of the era in all its form. Pair with a jacket over or a cardigan for a chillier summers evening. 

A special treat to oneself or a loved one.
