Vintage CC41 1940’s gorgeous plaid dress in brown and yellow.

Superb CC41 label on this fabulous dress, made from cotton. Small collar, short sleeves and 10 x brown buttons down the centre front. Pleats to the front just above the waist, with fabulous contrast fabric cut on the diagonal to form a waistline panel with self tie belt to back. Lovely drape to the skirt being gathered along the waistline, with 2 x large pockets to the front. Simple detailing with the brown edging to the cuffs, waistline panel and pocket surrounds. Slight shoulder pads. 
A very good example of the quality produced within the war era to utility requirements. 
A fabulous cotton day dress, one can easily wear through the day and into evening, or equally as a Sunday adventure. 
Layer with a jacket for chillier days or simply wear this beauty on its own. 
A gorgeous treat for Easter, spring or summer.

Very Good Vintage Condition - Flaws to note : slight teeny dot marks but these certainly don't detract and this beauty is ready to wear and be taken out for a spin.
