Original 1940’s Sensational Black & Yellow Dress by ‘ Paul Sachs ‘ - With Stunning Hip Swag & Peplum Details

Vintage 1940’s sensational black and yellow dress by ‘ Paul Sachs ‘ originals. This piece has the most stunning 1940’s silhouette and features a high rounded neckline with small sleeve, pleats to the top shoulder which created a blouson drape, matching belt to the waist, dropped Partial peplum to the one side with a hip swag to the other. Fastens with a side metal zipper and buttons to the back nape. Please see measurements below we would advise to wear smaller than the max measurements for the correct hanging of the garment. 

A must have piece for any 1940’s loving lady, great dressed up for evening cocktails or soirées or worn dressed down for striking daywear. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Waist - 30’ Tight ideally suits smaller

Hips - 38’

Nape to Waist - 16.5’

Waist to Hem - 29’ Plus 2’ hem 

Meant to be worn slightly blouson so best suited smaller than these maximum measurements

Great Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some wear to the belt and an additional smaller hole has been previously made. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the garment. Ready to wear.
