Original 1940’s Fabulous Sportwear Tennis Dress - In A Crisp White Linen With Lovely Details

           

Vintage 1940’s fabulous sportwear tennis dress in a crisp white linen with lovely details. Sportswear  items from the 30’s and 40’s are harder to find now with most having incurred a lot of wear. This fabulous example is a tennis dress from the 1940’s and features a lovely silhouette. The dress features a double sharp pointed collar with button front and 2 breast pockets. It has shorts sleeves with a turn back cuff. The piece features pleats to the skirt area and fastens with a metal side zip. The dress has shoulder pads which accentuates its classic silhouette. The garment has its original belt  loops but is missing its belt. The dress is a great staple piece for any 40’s wearers collection as it can be accessorised with an array of colours for varying ensembles. 

A darling addition to any 1940’s wearers collection. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Marks as expected with the colour and nature of the garment as it is sportswear. The marks do not detract from the look or wearability of the garment. The dress presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
