Original 1940's Sensational Rare Chenille Coat - In A Warming Chocolate Brown

Vintage 1940's sensational rare chenille coat in a warming chocolate brown. This is a rare example and it presents beautifully. It has a typical 1940's edge to edge silhouette with a strong shoulder line enhanced by shoulder pads. It is adorned with 2 large pockets to the front. There is a contrast detail to the back yoke where the chenille is going the opposite way to the draping which adds a lovely detailing. This piece looks great draped over the top of suits for extra layering, over dresses or even over blouses and slacks. 

A must have piece for any 1930's or 1940's wearer and a great piece of fashion history. A treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Wear to the edge of the nape, some seam separations to the lining which could be stitched. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the piece. This piece presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
