Original Late 1930's Early 1940's Edge to Edge Jacket - With Exquisite Embroidery Detailing in Pastels

 

Vintage late 1930's early 1940's edge to edge jacket with exquisite embroidery details in soft pastels. This is a divine piece to add to any vintage wearer or collectors collection. It features a mandarin collar, full length sleeve, edge to edge bodice and can be worn simply over blouses and slacks, layered over suits or even worn in a modern style with t shirts and jeans. This piece is beautifully made and even features sewn in weights to the hemline. The embroidery detailing is exquisite and depicts trailing florals and leaves in shades of pastel blues, mints, pinks, lilacs and fawns. Whilst currently there are no shoulder pads, some could be sewn in to accentuate the shape if desired. 

A must have piece for anyone with an eye and love for delicate embroidered detailing and a piece of such quality.

Great Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Upon close inspection there is a small hole to the hem where the jacket is weighted that can most definitely be repaired. Please see photographs. The jacket presents beautifully and is in amazing condition for its age.
