Original 1940’s DEADSTOCK CC41 Cotton Linen Dress in Chocolate Brown - With Original Shop Labels

Vintage 1940’s Deadstock CC41 cotton linen dress in a warm chocolate brown with original strung shop labels. This is a fabulous piece of 1940’s wartime fashion and is a piece of British history. This dress features a classic and very iconic utility silhouette and features a sharp pointed collar, button down front, single pocket, shaped sleeve with button fastening and a lovely draping. The piece features a makers and utility label to the inside of its neck. It features the original card shop label strung to its belt loop. Please see condition report below. 

This fabulous piece is a phenomenal staple for any 1930’s or 1940’s wearer and is such a versatile piece. Great for both day and evening wear with varying accessories. It looks great paired with green, blue or yellow for most authentic colour pallet styling. A must have piece of any forties collector or fashion enthusiast. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - General overall fade which gives an overall reddish brown hue. Missing its original belt but still retains belt loops. 1 small black dot to the back of the bodice. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the piece. It presents s beautifully and is ready to wear.
