Original 1940's Telephone Cord Handbag - Tricolor In Brown, Taupe & Dark Brown

Vintage 1940's telephone cord handbag in a tricolor combination of brown, Taupe and dark brown. Telephone cord bags are highly collectable and came in various combinations most often American in origin. This piece is a beautiful example in tricolor. It measures 8.5 ' x 5.5' ( 12' including the handle) a great size for the modern gal for a phone, lipstick and pennies. It fastens with a metal zip. This is a great piece for any 1940's or 1950's wearer or collector, as it will go with various ensembles. 

A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some slight staining to the bottom as expected with age and some wear to the edges of where the zip sits, common with these bags due to the construction. These flaws do not detract from the wearability or use of the bag, it still presents beautifully.
