Original 1940’s Sheer Blouse In A Sunshine Yellow - With Stunning Stitch Work Detailing

Vintage 1940’s sheer blouse in a a darling sunshine yellow. This piece has a classic 1940’s shape featuring sharp pointed collar, short sleeve with turn back cuffing, sewn in shoulder pads to create lines and button down front fastening. This piece features the most exquisite stitch work detailing to the collar and seam with faggoting stitches and to the front yoke there is a beautiful pleatwork detailing. It’s beautiful to see such lovely stitch work as it all adds to the authentic styling the garment creates. 

This piece is a great 1940’s staple garment for any vintage collector. It will look fabulous worn under suits, worn with high waisted slacks or even worn with 1940’s button jeans for a more casual attire. A lovely addition to your collection.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - The bottom button is different to the originals, this could be replaced for a full new set if desired. Some slight seam stress to a few of the seams on the waist upon close inspection. Slight underarm marking. These flaws do not detract from the wearability or look of the garment, it presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
